I'm tired and wasn't going to post tonight, but...here I am. Today was the first day of school for everyone. The boys started 5th grade *gasp* Middle School! I didn't think I was ready, but lo and behold, it was a smooth transition. They are "walkers!" This means they can ride their bikes..woohoo! Freedom!. Granted, we have only let them ride their bikes ONCE to the school alone...only once, so this is a HUGE leap for them.
Shaune took them this morning on their bikes, but they rode home alone. I will say, that they totally LOVED school. Everything was "great!" They are still a little nervous about tomorrow, unsure as to where to go when they first get there, but all in all, ready!
There was a 5th grade breakfast that we got to go to with the boys and Evan practically shooed us out the door. He was definitely more interested in hanging with his buddys than hanging with old mom and dad.
Oh, I failed to mention in the post below that the blue and yellow dresses that the girls are wearing are the ones I made for Easter. I really wanted the kids to match and couldn't find ANYTHING for the girls to wear that I liked, so I made the dresses.
Here are a few pics from this morning
